Here's my crazy story from being scared to share my face to creating a worldwide online program, speaking at dog events and building a community of 4000 people in 4 months!
I started my business because I wanted to educate and teach people how to live with their dogs without stress, worry or panic. I thought it would be EASY.
I thought people would just google me and fine me, boosting Facebooks posts here and there.
I didn't realise it was my role to find them - that's when I fell to the floor.
This meant I had to share who I was (which was who?!), to prove I can help, and put myself out there.
'Out there' where people would judge me, shame me, see that maybe I wasn't good enough to even be doing this in the first place.
Who the hell was I?!
To the point I never used my real name, it took me 6 months to use my name so people could recognise me.
My point is - I was scared shitless to be seen YET desperately wanted to be seen so I could make a difference to people, get more clients and create an income that allowed me leave my part time job.
Deep down, I knew I could do this, I just knew it.
I just didn't know the 'how'.
How do I stop these thoughts? How do I press live and breath at the same time? How do create courage to reach out to people? How can I be sure I can help?
I dived in and I screwed up ALOT.
Still feeling fearful, frustrated and desperate to make a difference to people
To points where I nearly gave EVERYTHING UP!
And you become a magnet.
Until I learnt that being visible is simply not just showing up on a facebook live to talk about dogs
True visibility - is the kind that touches people's hearts, inspires them to take action and magnetise to you
It is an inside game.
I had to radically choose to accept and love my flaws, my unique way of training, and most importantly to show up as me - the bubbly sensitive big hearted leader.
To learn how to quieten to noise in my head so I could show up for the dogs & people I wanted to serve,
I dug deep to connect with why I was here, to connect with the service I want to provide, to connect with how important this was for me.
Which then blossomed a fiery passion where nothing could stop me, and nothing did.
The confidence I have was created from within, because the truth it’s already there.
All we have to do is chose to unlock it.
When we choose to lean in to being visible in business & life, it shifts.
